Unexpected Road Closure

Dear Patients,

We are writing to inform you of a sudden road closure on Edgwarebury Lane due to resurfacing work.

We were recently made aware that this closure was planned; however, like many residents on our road, the practice did not receive any prior formal notification. We’re working quickly to manage the impact on our scheduled services.

Key Information for Patients:

• Practice Status: The practice remains open as usual.
• Parking & Access: There is currently no vehicle access or parking on Edgwarebury Lane.
• Appointments: Patients with face-to-face appointments today have been notified of the disruption. If you have an appointment scheduled before the weekend, please allow extra time to arrive on foot or via alternative routes.
• Reopening: We have been advised that the road will fully reopen on Saturday, 16 May 2026.

Our Response

We are currently conducting a risk assessment to identify any aspects of patient care that may be affected. Our priority is ensuring that clinical operations continue to run safely and effectively despite these external challenges.

We apologise for the short notice and any inconvenience this may cause. Our team’s primary focus this morning was ensuring immediate operations were managed before sending this wider communication.
