Appointments

Advance appointments are given with either a doctor or nurse.  There are also slots which are kept back on the day for emergency cases only. These are offered as follows:

  • Edgwarebury Lane – from 08:00 in the morning and from 16:00 in the evening.
  • Hendon Branch – from 09:00 in the morning and from 16:00 in the evening.

If all appointments at Edware have been allocated you may be offered a slot at Hendon.

Practice Nurses

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many ailments and you may be seen more quickly.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
