LAUNCH OFTHE NEW NHS 111 SERVICE TO ACCESS URGENT CARE

North Central London   have just launched the NHS111 Service forpatients across Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington in Mid-March 2013.  The service is provided by the London Central & West Unscheduled CareCollaborative (LCW), who is already delivering a 111 service across Inner NorthWest London.

NHS 111 is a new non-emergencytelephone service designed to help people access local health services. Local residents will be able to call 111 when they need medical help andadvice, but it is NOT a 999 emergency.  For less urgent health needs,residents should still contact their GP during normal opening hours.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
