If You Need Help When We Are Closed
If you are unwell and the surgery is closed the following services are available.
Monday to Friday between 1:00pm and 2:00pm, for urgent medical assistance which may require an ambulance please dial 999, for other medical assistance that cannot wait until the surgery re-opens at 2:00pm, please call the surgery on 0300 033 7861, your call will be transferred to the lunch time cover receptionist.
Monday to Friday from 6:30pm to 8:00pm and during Weekends and Bank Holidays from 8:00am to 8:00pm contact the GP evening and weekend service (provided by Barnet Federated GPs) on 020 3948 6809
For medical attention outside of these times please contact NHS111, call 111 from any phone.
A walk in service for minor injuries is available at Edgware Community Hospital, Burnt Oak Broadway, Edgware, Middlesex HA8 OAD. Telephone: 020 8732 6459.

Transport – Edgware Branch
Edgware tube station is a 12-minute walk from the surgery. There is a bus stop outside the surgery for the following bus numbers: 32, 142, 204, 251, 292, and 606.

Hendon Central tube station is a 7-minute walk from the surgery. There is a bus stop outside the surgery for the following bus numbers: 113, 32, 142.
Physical Accessibility
There is disabled access and disabled toilet facilities at Jai Medical Centre. A hearing loop is available at reception if needed.
How to Make a Complaint
There may be times when you feel a formal complaint is necessary. The practice operates a complaints procedure in line with the NHS regulations. You can make a complaint orally, in writing or via email at jmc@nhs.net to the Practice Manager.
